BREAKING NEWS
--- WORCESTER STATE COLLEGE AND WCC ALLIANCE

May 4, 2009 - The Worcester College Foundation has accepted the unanimous vote of the Worcester State College Board to proceed with negotiations creating an alliance with the craft center.

Key leadership from both organizations are in discussion about blending the educational strengths of both institutions. The Craft Center has been working quietly behind the scenes to design a new operating plan that includes both craft courses and studies from an expanded Worcester State visual arts department.

The Center’s off-site glass studio will be included in the new configuration. The board and remaining staff of the craft center have worked diligently to find the best opportunity to preserve its mission.  All involved are excited by the possibilities of this new relationship.

Our thanks to all our friends who have supported us during these challenging months. We think your faith will be rewarded. Expect more details in the coming weeks. Read the recent Telegram and Gazette article.

Here's my turning cabinet I built. It’s on wheels so I can move it out of the way when not needed.  I find it very handy to have everything I need close by. - Art Bodwell
